A very recent independent clinical study on the effectiveness of GUAM Seaweed Muds, carried out in 2022 by four Italian universities and coordinated by internationally renowned scientists, has led to the discovery of new, unexpected, and extraordinary results.

Following a precise scientific protocol, GUAM Seaweed Mud treatments were applied to a sample of 50 volunteers between the ages of 22 and 61 who were affected by cellulite and cutaneous hypotonia..

Histological analysis of the biopsies before and after the treatment showed a significant improvement in the skin’s composition, including the stimulation of Collagen synthesis, as well as improvements to the architecture of the extracellular matrix and microcirculation.

The results showed a significant reduction in the thickness of adipose tissue compared to the initial stage, as well as improved vascularisation and a reorganisation of cutaneous and sub-cutaneous architecture thanks to the natural stimulation of collagen synthesis.

Many of cellulite’s unique histological characteristics disappeared, accompanied by a general reconstruction of the tissue’s normal architecture.

Four weeks of treatment with GUAM Seaweed Mud can therefore restore the structure and improve the functions of tissues affected by cellulite. The treatment also significantly reduced the circumference of the volunteers’ waists, bellies, hips (upper and mid-hip measurements), and knees, while improving elasticity and hydration levels in the skin.

Furthermore, new collagen deposits were found, especially deeper in the skin, as well as signs of regeneration.

To sum up, measured results included:

– 2.74 CM AVERAGE REDUCTION OF THIGH CIRCUMFERENCE

– 3.80 CM AVERAGE REDUCTION OF HIP CIRCUMFERENCE

– SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT IN THE ORGANISATION OF THE DERMIS, WITH REACTIVATION OF RETICULAR COLLAGEN SYNTHESIS, WHICH IMPROVES THE SKIN’S STRUCTURE AND
ELASTICITY. TYPE 3

The microscope slide images show the structure of the tissues before and
after treatment.
